Breathwork and Stress Relief Workshop
Seattle is synonymous with three things: rain, skyrocketing rent, and ambition. Life here can create chronic stress that negatively affects our mental health, so we must find reliable and affordable tools for managing any situation. Enter breath. By learning to harness the power and cadence of your breath, you can instantly transform stressful circumstances into moments of calm. Brooke will begin the evening with a breathwork workshop designed to show you how your breathing influences both your mind and physiology, followed by a discussion of how breathing ties into mental health. We will be lying down for a portion of the evening, so wear comfy clothes if you can and bring a yoga mat if you have one.
